Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be available any day of the week between 11 PM and 7 AM
- Full-time availability four days per week
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must demonstrate bending, kneeling, handling, reaching, grasping and repetitive motion capabilities
- Must work efficiently under pressure
- Able to work outdoors in extreme weather
- Able to handle noise and interruptions
- Able to handle stress from guest relations and high occupancy
- Prepared to stay overnight if necessary during road closures
- Flexible and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Able to use arithmetic accurately
- Reliable and mature with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to exercise judgment within policy guidelines
- Problem-solving skills within job responsibilities
- Strong understanding of other resort operations
- Ability to interact pleasantly with guests and coworkers
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work in high-volume and flexible environments
- Quick decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Escort incoming hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage
- Ensure luggage is safe and handled properly
- Deliver luggage to guestrooms within 15 minutes of arrival
- Collect luggage within 8 minutes of guest's call when departing
- Adhere to master key usage procedure
- Be visible and available in the lobby to assist guests
- Use guest's names whenever possible
- Maintain eye contact and provide excellent guest interaction
- Assist in keeping work area clean
- Provide valet service by parking and retrieving vehicles
- Direct traffic efficiently
- Answer telephone promptly with clear greeting
- Keep record of calls for service
- Maintain bell desk log sheets accurately
- Demonstrate personal guest service excellence
- Act as hotel ambassador
- Maintain professionalism in job performance
- Perform snow removal and salting of pathways
- Assist with lot clearings
- Provide shuttle runs
- Occasionally travel to Salt Lake Valley
