Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event coordination or management
- ability to work under pressure
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong interpersonal skills
- proficiency with event management software considered a plus

- experience in event management within a hotel or hospitality environment
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- leadership experience managing staff

- customer service orientation
Job Duties
- execute all contracted events to exceed client expectations
- act as liaison between clients and sales event managers
- oversee catering staff and housekeeping
- serve as onsite contact during events
- interact with clients to ensure satisfaction
- maintain communication flow between client and internal departments including food and beverage, kitchen, and events team
- manage event production at both Soho Grand Hotel and The Roxy Hotel
