Job Requirements
- Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to climb ladders and remain mobile during shift
- Ability to operate power equipment if required
- Capable of working in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Must comply with safety protocols at all times
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous
- Ability to operate handheld technology such as scanners and communication devices
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and capability to follow multi-step processes
- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their needs
- Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
- Perform merchandise set-up and maintenance, inventory accuracy, and price changes as directed
- Support guest services including backup cashier duties and digital fulfillment processes such as picking and packing orders
- Maintain compliance with safety policies and legal requirements while performing duties
- All other duties based on business needs
