Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate travel management or hospitality industry
  • Experience working as a travel or booking agent or managing an agent team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with international travel and traveler risk management
  • Proficient in travel management systems like Concur
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs, and currencies
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with travel vendors
  • Ability to adapt to emergencies and changes quickly
  • Track record of excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of environmental impact and sustainable travel measures
  • Proficiency in English, additional languages desirable
  • Availability for up to 10% domestic and international travel

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in travel booking or managing agent teams

  • Proven customer service excellence
  • Attention to detail and understanding of environmental impact and sustainability
  • Proficient in relevant TMC platforms
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal English
  • Additional language skills in French, Spanish, or Portuguese desirable

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with travel stakeholders to develop travel strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals
  • Apply continuous improvement in reviewing travel policies and standards
  • Collaborate with travel risk management to develop a holistic travel management framework
  • Prepare and distribute travel activity reports for transparency
  • Incorporate safety-related metrics and traveler risk reporting
  • Develop and implement traveler training and communication plans
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate agreements to drive savings
  • Lead the Global Travel work group and represent the organization at industry events
  • Manage and enhance travel management technology platforms
  • Explore innovative travel technology solutions including AI and chatbots
  • Advise event coordinators on venue selection for global meetings and events
