Job Requirements
- Proven experience selling international freight forwarding services to global Tier 1/2 accounts
- Experience in the Hi-Tech, Electronics, Semiconductor, Solar, or Industrial sectors
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel for customer visits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience selling international freight forwarding services to global Tier 1/2 accounts
- Experience in the Hi-Tech, Electronics, Semiconductor, Solar, or Industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding products including air, ocean, warehousing, and 3PL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships at the C-Level
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Comfortable working in a predominantly office-based environment with occasional customer visits
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Job Duties
- Securing and managing new global account business
- Developing strong C-Level relationships within existing and target accounts focused in Semiconductor, Solar, Industrial, and Electronics/Technology verticals
- Meeting assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets including overall territory and individual account targets
- Managing a global customer list of 5-10 target accounts
- Conducting strategic sales initiatives to identify global opportunities and decision makers
- Providing coaching and conducting joint sales calls with regional/local account executives
- Maintaining personal contact with large key customers
- Researching customer needs and developing product/service applications
- Determining market strategies and coordinating data from staff and member groups
- Researching and developing potential Semiconductor customer lists
- Evaluating product and service marketability
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technical developments
- Establishing and maintaining industry contacts
- Collaborating with corporate and branch management as well as operations staff to ensure sales opportunities
