Job Qualifications

- Up to one month related experience or training
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers
- Ability to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's
- Basic math skills using American money and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively before groups
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Ability to apply grammar, punctuation, and spelling concepts

Job Duties
- Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
- Perform all Ginna's restaurant functions including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge and other duties as assigned by managers
- Follow all food safety guidelines by state and local ordinances
- Ensure all products are received and stored according to standard operating guidelines
- Assist in training new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and standard operating guidelines
- Ensure cash control and till management according to Scheels cashier guidelines
- Manage and support side work, daily cleaning schedules, and opening and closing procedures
- Maintain working knowledge of café recipes and prepared foods
- Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect while following Scheels' policies and procedures
- Perform basic math operations related to money, weight, volume, and distance
- Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
- Work assigned schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prepare a variety of food, drinks, and ingredients
