Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
  • Ability to perform basic cake decorating and baking skills
  • Ability to perform basic baking skills including fermentation, preparation, baking, and packaging
  • Competency with computer applications used in department operations
  • Possession of or ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180 days

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3-6 years of supervision experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Proficient in bakery equipment operation
  • Ability to perform basic cake decorating and baking skills
  • Competent with computer applications related to department operations
  • Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
  • English preferred, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Manage daily bakery operations to ensure consistent quality and service
  • Promote customer loyalty by creating a welcoming environment
  • Execute marketing plans as per department planners and event kits
  • Train and develop team members on freshness, inventory, and merchandising
  • Oversee inventory management and production planning
  • Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations
  • Identify and report safety hazards and maintain safety programs
