Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background checks
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- Ability to perform basic cake decorating and baking skills
- Ability to perform basic baking skills including fermentation, preparation, baking, and packaging
- Competency with computer applications used in department operations
- Possession of or ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180 days
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-6 years of supervision experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Basic math knowledge
- Proficient in bakery equipment operation
- Ability to perform basic cake decorating and baking skills
- Competent with computer applications related to department operations
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- English preferred, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Job Duties
- Manage daily bakery operations to ensure consistent quality and service
- Promote customer loyalty by creating a welcoming environment
- Execute marketing plans as per department planners and event kits
- Train and develop team members on freshness, inventory, and merchandising
- Oversee inventory management and production planning
- Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Identify and report safety hazards and maintain safety programs
