Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • ability to perform physical job duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, tasting, smelling, and communicating
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • commitment to safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and provide coaching
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • communicate sales performance and implement corporate initiatives
  • assist team members as needed
  • drive sales through suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work practices
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash security procedures and inventory
  • manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • follow recipes and portion control
  • optimize labor scheduling
  • maintain restaurant equipment and facility
  • perform other assigned duties
