Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • capability to stand for entire shifts and move continuously
  • ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise and manage employee performance including rewards, discipline, and termination
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable environment
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with safety policies and local health codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs, and review financial reports
  • manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • follow recipes and portion control
  • manage employee schedules to optimize labor costs
  • ensure proper use of equipment and facility maintenance
  • perform all other assigned duties
