Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years experience managing a multi-location operation
  • Management experience in the wholesale distribution industry
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial reports
  • Progressive management experience with demonstrated success
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel regionally (50 percent or more) without restriction
  • Computer knowledge and skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the financial results, revenue and operating income of the region
  • Responsible for customer service standards of performance and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in corporate strategic planning and progress on corporate strategic goals
  • Evaluate regional needs to optimize growth and development of branches and employees
  • Build a cohesive, service-oriented, multidisciplinary team through recruitment and retention, training and professional development, and performance evaluations
  • Manage branches and field personnel within the region and work closely with the President to ensure growth and success
  • Interact effectively with customers, maintaining and developing customer relationships
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and attend trade shows, conventions and seminars
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President and COO
