Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations and staff
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and administer rewards and discipline including terminations
- address complaints and resolve problems
- foster employee engagement and shape restaurant culture
- coach and mentor team members
- model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives
- assist team members with job duties as needed
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover and sales per guest
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- maintain cost controls and profit management
- enforce safety and health regulations
- ensure safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control cash, inventory, labor scheduling, and financial reports
- manage food and labor costs
- ensure proper use of equipment and facility maintenance
- perform all other duties as assigned
