Job Duties

  • Develop a culture forward atmosphere for guests and team members
  • Focus on experiential hospitality by implementing systems for high levels of guest service
  • Champion continued development, motivation, training and education of team members
  • Lead by example with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
  • Be a passionate storyteller about the property and community relationships
  • Keep abreast of competition, local events, and hospitality trends
  • Work collaboratively with managers to meet financial and guest service goals
  • Establish and enforce consistent operating procedures
  • Schedule hotel staff effectively to meet guest needs and labor budgets
  • Manage property human resources and accounting including forecasting, reporting, inventory, cash flow, and budget writing
  • Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Participate in weekly revenue management and sales strategy calls
  • Conduct daily stand-up meetings with management and staff
  • Ensure cleanliness, condition, and regular inspection of hotel equipment and areas
  • Oversee guest service scores, create staff incentives, and manage guest feedback and issues
