Job Duties
- Develop a culture forward atmosphere for guests and team members
- Focus on experiential hospitality by implementing systems for high levels of guest service
- Champion continued development, motivation, training and education of team members
- Lead by example with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- Be a passionate storyteller about the property and community relationships
- Keep abreast of competition, local events, and hospitality trends
- Work collaboratively with managers to meet financial and guest service goals
- Establish and enforce consistent operating procedures
- Schedule hotel staff effectively to meet guest needs and labor budgets
- Manage property human resources and accounting including forecasting, reporting, inventory, cash flow, and budget writing
- Assist in developing the annual marketing plan and budget
- Participate in weekly revenue management and sales strategy calls
- Conduct daily stand-up meetings with management and staff
- Ensure cleanliness, condition, and regular inspection of hotel equipment and areas
- Oversee guest service scores, create staff incentives, and manage guest feedback and issues
