Job Requirements
- Hotel general manager experience or 3+ years leadership in hotel rooms, operations, or sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage financial reports and budgets
- Skilled in conflict resolution with associates and guests
- Proficient in technology and hotel management systems
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Excellent writing and presentation abilities
- Willingness to engage in community activities
Job Qualifications
- Current or prior hotel general manager experience or 3+ years of hotel rooms, operations, or sales leadership experience within major brands such as Hilton, Marriott, or Hyatt
- Ability to defuse distressed associates and guests with successful outcomes
- Ability to learn and utilize systems technology effectively
- Displays professionalism and best-self in all situations
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Hospitality certifications such as CHA, CHRM, CHSP are a plus
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service culture to maximize operations and guest satisfaction
- Champion brand and company reputation to exceed performance standards
- Contribute to financial forecasts and budgets
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements with regional accounting and operations teams
- Optimize revenues including room and food and beverage to maximize profitability
- Establish supportive team environment through training, development, coaching, counseling, and mentorship
- Create an ambitious, fun, and loyal team using effective retention techniques
- Recruit top talent through internal and external creativity
- Attend and contribute to weekly revenue meetings hosted by the regional revenue team
- Manage hotel-specific accounting duties including payroll accuracy and timeliness
- Participate actively in local community through volunteer work
