Job Requirements
- must be 18 years old or older
- able to stand, walk, squat, bend for prolonged periods
- able to perform repetitive hand/arm motions
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- able to work in fast-paced and high-stress environments
- work with agility
- assist in training and developing new hires
- occasional long hours within state and federal laws
- ability to write simple correspondence in English and effectively communicate with guests and employees
- ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- reliable transportation
- current ServSafe certification or must pass within 30 days
- Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
- comply with all local Health Department requirements
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
- availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets for store profitability
- supervise and direct store staff
- make staffing decisions including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees
- ensure guest satisfaction and product quality
- maintain safety and security of the store
- manage cash handling and financial reporting
- monitor inventory, production, waste, and control cost of goods without compromising quality
- schedule all staff and communicate schedules
- provide disciplined leadership and accountability to team members
- oversee physical inventory and timekeeping accuracy
- authorize payment of invoices and maintain store equipment and facilities
- coordinate promotional and marketing activities
- ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- work alongside team members as a working manager
- perform other duties as assigned
