Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Prior leadership role experience
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Dedication to exceptional guest service
  • Available to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands, bend, stoop
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Ability to meet vision requirements
  • Willingness to be a role model in appearance
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • Basic business math and accounting knowledge
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent team building and conflict resolution skills
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Ability to serve alcohol where applicable following state laws

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
  • Appraise employee performance and manage rewards and discipline
  • Coach and mentor team members for success
  • Model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to management and staff
  • Assist team members as needed with operational tasks
  • Champion sales-building activities including suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales metrics per guest and hour
  • Greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash procedures, inventory, and labor costs
  • Manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control
  • Optimize employee scheduling and sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
