Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred

  • Prior leadership experience in restaurant management

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance
  • reward and discipline including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • cultivate a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to enhance job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior creating a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and expected variances to management team
  • implement corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues ensuring guest satisfaction
  • maintain operational efficiency with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors for employees and guests
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness daily
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • oversee financial reports and employee schedules
  • manage P&L including food, labor, and other controllable costs
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform additional duties as assigned
