Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in restaurant leadership roles preferred
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Dedication to guest service excellence
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Available to work various shifts and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Must meet state age requirements for alcohol service if applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work assignments
  • Appraise performance and handle employee rewards, discipline, and termination
  • Shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
  • Occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • Champion sales-building and suggestive selling activities
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs, review financial reports and schedules
  • Manage P&L including food cost, labor, and controllable items
  • Follow recipes and portion control to manage food costs
  • Optimize labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
  • Perform all other assigned duties
