Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • Prior leadership role experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • Ability to lift, push, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • Commitment to following safety, sanitation, and company policies
  • Availability for flexible scheduling
  • Adherence to OSHA and local health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in adherence to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • Address and resolve complaints and problems
  • Shape and maintain a positive work culture with high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and safety policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, security procedures, inventory, labor management, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • Manage P&L, including food cost, labor cost, and carryout cost
  • Control food costs through recipe adherence and portion control
  • Optimize labor costs via effective staff scheduling and monitoring
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
