Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years progressive leadership experience in food service management
- proven financial management and budgeting skills
- knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to work onsite full time in Cleveland, Ohio
- ability to pass background checks and comply with correctional facility policies
Job Qualifications
- At least three years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
- proven experience in financial management and controls
- advanced skills in math and financial management, such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
- bachelor’s degree in nutrition, hotel and restaurant management, or related field preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a correctional facility environment
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and oversee all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments
- function as the liaison in all administrative roles within the budget
- assume responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and food preparation and service
- supervise staff and facilitate staff development
- ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- develop cost-effective menus that meet nutritional and dietary requirements
- maintain a safe and sanitary food service environment
