Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years progressive leadership experience in food service management
  • proven financial management and budgeting skills
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work onsite full time in Cleveland, Ohio
  • ability to pass background checks and comply with correctional facility policies

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
  • proven experience in financial management and controls
  • advanced skills in math and financial management, such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
  • bachelor’s degree in nutrition, hotel and restaurant management, or related field preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a correctional facility environment

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and oversee all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments
  • function as the liaison in all administrative roles within the budget
  • assume responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and food preparation and service
  • supervise staff and facilitate staff development
  • ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
  • develop cost-effective menus that meet nutritional and dietary requirements
  • maintain a safe and sanitary food service environment
