Job Duties

  • Protects and promotes the Whataburger brand at all times
  • Completes Orange Guidebook and NSF checklist consistently
  • Conducts and attends required meetings
  • Schedules and conducts LTO training sessions
  • Attends Quarterly Business Meeting and GM meetings
  • Reports critical situations and budget deviations to Area Manager
  • Communicates operating data and maintenance needs to Area Manager
  • Ensures compliance with Family Member Guidelines
  • Prepares reports and presents ideas to management
  • Demonstrates Whataburger's Family Value Proposition
  • Manages recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes
  • Conducts new hire orientation and training
  • Identifies and trains staff for leadership roles
  • Maintains staff development program
  • Conducts performance and merit reviews
  • Oversees scheduling for food quality and budget attainment
  • Recognizes and rewards top performers
  • Maintains professional and fair relationships with team members
  • Communicates harassment and policy violations appropriately
  • Acts as a role model leader
  • Performs administrative tasks including payroll corrections and reviews
  • Reviews OGBs and pass-down communications
  • Manages maintenance issues and paperwork accuracy
  • Conducts cash handling audits and invoice posting
  • Manages food and supply orders
  • Oversees compliance with cash handling and deposit procedures
  • Investigates cash and inventory discrepancies
  • Conducts quality and food safety audits
  • Tracks sales performance by meal segment
  • Implements sales through marketing and incentive programs
  • Monitors food quality, service speed, and customer feedback
  • Ensures accurate inventory and ordering procedures
  • Maintains food production equipment
