Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant or Airport General Manager
- capable of performing all hourly position functions
- knowledge of POS and back office systems
- strong leadership and coaching skills
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
- ability to manage profit and loss centers
- availability to respond to business needs on short notice
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred
- minimum of 2 years as a Restaurant or Airport General Manager with extensive knowledge of systems, methods, recipes, and policies
- capable of performing all functions of hourly positions
- knowledge of POS and back office systems to fulfill management functions
- strong leadership abilities
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- experience managing profit and loss
- ability to develop and coach team members
- knowledge of compliance requirements
- ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
Job Duties
- Assist in the successful transition from current food service provider to Metz Culinary Management
- develop operational standards including training, recipes, and steps-of-service while ensuring franchise brand standards are met
- manage all day-to-day food, beverage, and news operations focusing on delivering great guest and team member experiences
- directly supervise and support management/supervisors and hourly Team Members
- manage all profit and loss centers
- ensure business results meet or exceed proforma and budget targets
- align all behavior with company values and operating expectations
- execute on all brand standards
- identify opportunities for sales growth, traffic increase, and return visits with a 4-wall mentality
- oversee local store and national marketing promotions
- determine current and future staffing needs
- respond and adapt to travel interruptions, weather impacts, and related business volume changes
- be available to work on short notice
- identify and develop high-potential team members and managers
- provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development
- evaluate performance and hold team accountable
- create a safe, clean, and discrimination-free environment meeting legal and company standards
- respond to guest service complaints and resolve issues
- work closely with airport administration, FAA, and TSA for compliance
- complete financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and timely
