Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Adherence to state mandated age requirements for alcohol-serving positions
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and perform physical activity regularly
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision
  • Ability to freely access all restaurant areas

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and if necessary terminate employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and manage corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Drive sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Ensure efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Enforce safety policies including OSHA and health codes
  • Promote safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
  • Manage labor scheduling and financial reporting
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facility
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
