Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Prior leadership role experience required
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Ability to manage employees effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to stand and walk long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and use vision and hearing effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees including terminations
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, health, safety, and security compliance
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, labor, and review financial reports
  • Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control, conduct weekly inventory
  • Optimize employee scheduling using labor scheduling tools
  • Ensure proper equipment use
  • Maintain facilities and company assets
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
