Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in dietary, food safety, food service management or similar
  • USDA certification in School Nutrition if holding a degree in another discipline
  • minimum 3 years experience in food service management including front and back of house operations
  • knowledge of retail sales and POS systems
  • catering management experience
  • impeccable communication skills
  • restaurant management knowledge
  • proficiency in menu planning and presentation
  • strong team building and retention program experience
  • technology savvy

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in dietary, food safety, food service management or similar
  • USDA certification in School Nutrition if degree is in any other concentration
  • experience leading food service operations in K-12 school lunch programs or similar contract dining settings
  • knowledge of retail sales and POS systems
  • catering management experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • familiarity with restaurant management
  • strong team building and recruitment skills
  • technology proficiency
  • hospitality degree considered a plus

  • Implement company cycle menus and recipes
  • plan and oversee purchasing activities
  • manage employee personnel programs and scheduling
  • maintain bookkeeping and operational records
  • handle customer and client relations
  • supervise food preparation, service, and sanitation standards
  • ensure overall operational results meet company standards
