Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions
- cultivate a high level of employee engagement and positive restaurant culture
- coach and mentor team members to enhance job performance and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior to foster a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
- assist team members with duties as needed
- champion sales-building and suggestive selling activities
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes and company safety policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- manage cash control, inventory, food and labor costs, and financial reporting
- perform P&L management and control food and labor costs
- oversee proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
- perform other duties as assigned
