Job Requirements

  • Positive attitude ready and willing to manage team and serve customers every day with a smile
  • Ability to hire, train and motivate a high performance team
  • Understanding of food and labor cost management
  • Knowledge of profit and loss statements and operating for maximum profitability
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience
  • Able to work on feet for up to 13 hours
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Open availability including weekends and some nights
  • Cash handling skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Top notch customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a strong team

Job Duties

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including health, wage, age, employment practices, ADA, OSHA
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of Firehouse Subs policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership to restaurant team to meet guest service, quality and cleanliness standards while fostering a positive work environment
  • Ensure profitability by managing food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth
  • Coordinate and implement current operations plans and company initiatives timely and profitably
  • Recruit, train, and develop qualified personnel including Assistant and Shift Managers
  • Participate in local restaurant marketing and community affairs
  • Implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives
  • Maintain accurate programs, reports and legal documents
  • Communicate business issues to district manager/owner
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and report problems immediately
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by district manager/owner
