Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years experience in food service leadership
- Strong financial management skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Effective staff supervision abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Palm Beach, Florida
- Commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- At least three years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
- Proven experience in financial management and controls
- Advanced skills in math and financial management such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in an upscale dining environment
Job Duties
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments
- Functioning as the liaison in all administrative roles within the budget
- Assuming responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and preparation and service of food
- Supervising staff and facilitating staff development
- Ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Managing financial aspects including labor and food cost controls
- Coordinating events and dining services within the Cultural Center
