Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience in food service leadership
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Effective staff supervision abilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to work onsite in Palm Beach, Florida
  • Commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of progressive work experience in a leadership position in food service management
  • Proven experience in financial management and controls
  • Advanced skills in math and financial management such as budgeting, labor, and food cost controls
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an upscale dining environment

Job Duties

  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing all activities and systems in the dining service and nutrition departments
  • Functioning as the liaison in all administrative roles within the budget
  • Assuming responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, and preparation and service of food
  • Supervising staff and facilitating staff development
  • Ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Managing financial aspects including labor and food cost controls
  • Coordinating events and dining services within the Cultural Center
