Job Requirements

  • ServSafe certification
  • Moe's Manager certification
  • college degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • valid drivers license
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to supervise 15-25 team members
  • ability to perform effective interviews
  • willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • capability to stand, bend, stoop, twist and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to operate restaurant and office equipment

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience is a must
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • must possess a valid drivers license
  • must be eligible to work in the United States
  • must agree to a background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints to convert dissatisfied guests into regular customers
  • provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing plan
  • interview prospective employees and follow staffing procedures
  • develop team members through feedback and performance reviews
  • create a positive work environment known in the community
  • enforce sanitary practices and food safety standards
  • maintain a health inspection score of 90 percent or higher
  • ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards
  • manage food ordering, receiving, storing and serving to optimize quality and minimize waste
  • enforce security procedures to protect guests and assets
  • ensure a safe working environment and complete injury reports as needed
  • manage effective shift operations
  • investigate and act on mystery shopper reports
  • adhere to Sterling standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • analyze financial reports to improve profitability
  • ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • book spirit nights and maintain community involvement
  • report to the district manager and maintain positive team morale
  • perform additional duties as required or requested
