Job Requirements
- meet minimum legal age requirement for serving or handling alcoholic beverages
- be approachable and maintain a friendly and courteous manner
- be available to work flexible shifts including days evenings and weekends
- thrive in a lively fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise level
- able to understand and communicate instructions effectively
- able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- able to move efficiently and stand for extended periods
- able to walk or stand for entire shift duration
- frequently reach bend stoop lift and wipe down surfaces
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is an asset
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies
- teamwork and interpersonal skills
- flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- plays a key part in delivering excellent drink service that complements food and entertainment, keeping the bartender and immediate supervisor informed about low stock levels, spills, or equipment malfunctions, providing efficient assistance by replenishing bar supplies and preparing garnishes, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude supporting bartenders during busy periods, assisting with guest inquiries and maintaining bar cleanliness, supporting bartenders by retrieving ingredients and glassware, ensuring empty glassware is collected and the bar area remains tidy, informing the bartender or manager of any guest issues, adhering to policies regarding responsible alcohol service and safety regulations, stocking and organizing bar-related supplies, assisting with periodic inventory counts, checking and replenishing bar supplies before, during, and after service, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, providing assistance to other team members, maintaining positive working relationships with all team members, meeting legal age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
