Job Requirements

- willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning
- ability to follow sanitary and safety guidelines
- must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests

- experience in food preparation or service beneficial but not required
- ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures

Job Duties
- Set up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities, equipment and utensils under detailed instruction
- check food temperatures and prepare areas for daily operations
- operate cooking or bakery equipment as assigned
- prepare or assist in the preparation of hot and cold meals and beverages
- serve food items to customers from counters and steam tables, ensuring appropriate portions
- replenish foods, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at serving stations
- order and replenish condiments
- clean and maintain work areas including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment
- collect and place garbage and trash in designated containers as appropriate
- wash pots, pans, and other serviceware ensuring sanitary handling
- organize and replace serviceware
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
