Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of food service experience required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to food preparation and service
  • Must be available to work full time including weekends
  • Capacity to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Assist with setting up food service areas including kitchen, salad, or bakery stations
  • Check food temperatures and prepare areas for daily operations
  • Move food and supplies from kitchen or prep areas to serving site
  • Set up hot and cold food lines by following prescribed procedures
  • Prepare or assist in preparing a variety of food items such as hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and simple baked goods
  • Serve food items to customers ensuring proper portion sizes and following specific instructions
  • Assist with catering operations as needed
  • Replenish food, silverware, glassware, and trays at serving stations
  • Fill and maintain ice cream, yogurt, and ice machines ensuring cleanliness
  • Keep work areas clean and organized including washing dishes, utensils, and service ware
  • Wash pots, pans, and kitchenware ensuring sanitary handling
  • Perform cashiering duties if required
  • Provide assistance and guidance to other employees
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
