Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a similar role preferred
- knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and utensils in the galley, following established cleaning procedures onboard the cruise ship
- assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- properly store and rotate food supplies to ensure freshness and prevent waste
- assist with loading and unloading of food and supplies
- dispose of waste and garbage in accordance with company policies and regulations
- maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager
- follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- assist with other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
