Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- One or more years of relevant delivery or moving experience
- Ownership of a well-maintained box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Physical ability to lift over 100 pounds with or without assistance
- Strong customer service skills
- Capability to navigate stairs and tight spaces
- Access to required delivery equipment such as stretch wrap and moving blankets
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or related field
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items over 100 pounds
- Familiarity with safety protocols in handling large furniture
- Experience navigating tight spaces and stairs during delivery
Job Duties
- Complete retail store pickups and home deliveries
- Transport custom or pre-assembled furniture
- Deliver major appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators
- Provide white-glove delivery services including in-home placement and light assembly
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Use required equipment such as stretch wrap and tie-down straps to protect items
- Maintain vehicle in compliance with transportation laws
