Job Requirements
- Must own a box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck
- Vehicle must be well-maintained and comply with local transportation laws
- Must have plastic stretch wrap, moving blankets, tie-down or ratchet straps, and a basic tool kit
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have vehicle insurance
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- At least one year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or related fields
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry over 100 pounds
- Ability to safely navigate stairs and tight spaces
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Vehicle insurance
- Experienced with light furniture assembly
Job Duties
- Complete retail store pickups and home deliveries
- Deliver custom or pre-assembled furniture
- Transport major appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators
- Provide white-glove delivery services including in-home placement and light assembly
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Use equipment such as stretch wrap and tie-down straps to protect goods
- Navigate stairs and tight spaces carefully to place furniture securely
