Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Own and maintain a box truck (16-26 feet), cargo van, or pickup truck
- Vehicle must comply with local transportation laws
- U.S. driver’s license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Physical ability to lift and carry 100 pounds or more, with or without assistance
- Ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces
- Able to handle customer interactions professionally
- Previous experience in a relevant field
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or a related field
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry over 100 pounds
- Proven ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces safely
- Familiarity with moving equipment such as stretch wrap, moving blankets, and tie-down straps
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Basic tool usage skills for light furniture assembly
Job Duties
- Transport furniture and appliances from stores to customer locations
- Protect and secure items during transit using stretch wrap, blankets, and tie-down straps
- Provide white-glove delivery including in-home placement and light assembly
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and clarify delivery details
- Navigate stairs, tight spaces, and handle bulky items safely
- Handle multi-piece furniture sets and large appliances carefully
- Maintain vehicle compliance and condition for safe delivery operations
