Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Own a reliable box truck (16'-26'), cargo van, or pickup truck
- Vehicle must be well-maintained and compliant with local transportation laws
- Must have U.S. driver’s license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Physical ability to lift and carry 100 lbs or more with or without assistance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces carefully
- Possess equipment such as plastic stretch wrap, moving blankets, tie-down or ratchet straps, and basic tool kit for light assembly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, or a related field
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (100 lbs or more) safely
- Ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces with care
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Proficient in using basic hand tools for light assembly
Job Duties
- Transport furniture and appliances safely to customer locations
- Protect items during loading, transit, and delivery using proper materials
- Place furniture and appliances in designated areas inside homes or businesses
- Perform light assembly and setup as required
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Navigate stairs and tight spaces carefully to prevent damage or injury
- Verify job details and confirm assignments prior to delivery
