Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Own and maintain a box truck (16'-26'), cargo van, or pickup truck
- Possess U.S. driver’s license
- Maintain valid vehicle insurance
- Have physical ability to lift heavy items and navigate delivery environments
- Possess required equipment such as plastic stretch wrap, moving blankets, tie-down straps, and basic tool kit
- Available for flexible contract-based scheduling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, or logistics
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry over 100 lbs with or without assistance
- Proficient in navigating stairs and tight spaces
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- Familiarity with basic furniture assembly
Job Duties
- Transport furniture and appliances safely and efficiently
- Perform retail store pickups and home deliveries
- Provide white-glove delivery services including in-home placement and light assembly
- Navigate stairs and tight spaces carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain communication with customers for excellent service
- Secure cargo using plastic stretch wrap, moving blankets, and tie-down straps
- Adhere to local transportation laws and company safety standards
