Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- must own a box truck (16'-26'), cargo van, or pickup truck
- vehicle must be well-maintained and compliant with local transportation laws
- possession of U.S. driver’s license
- valid vehicle insurance
- ability to lift and carry 100 lbs or more
- excellent communication skills
- physical ability to navigate stairs and tight spaces
- willingness to perform light assembly tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or a related field
- excellent customer service skills
- strong communication abilities
- physical stamina to lift and carry 100 lbs or more
- ability to maneuver furniture through tight spaces and stairs
- valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Duties
- Transport furniture and appliances from retail stores to customer homes and businesses
- handle white-glove delivery services including in-home placement and light assembly
- protect and secure items using stretch wrap, moving blankets, and tie-down straps
- communicate effectively with customers to provide excellent service
- load and unload items safely, navigating stairs and tight spaces
- follow vehicle maintenance and local transportation regulations
- complete delivery documentation and report any issues timely
