Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- 1 plus year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or related fields
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- physical ability to lift and carry 100 lbs plus with or without assistance
- able to navigate stairs and tight spaces with care
- must own a box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck
- vehicle must be well-maintained and compliant with local transportation laws
- required equipment includes plastic stretch wrap, moving blankets, tie-down straps, basic tool kit
- possession of U.S. driver’s license
- vehicle insurance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or related field
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work independently
- good physical condition to lift over 100 pounds
- valid U.S. driver’s license
- knowledge of local roads and delivery routes
Job Duties
- Perform retail store pickups and home deliveries
- deliver custom or pre-assembled furniture
- transport major appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators
- provide white-glove delivery services including in-home placement and light assembly
- utilize delivery equipment like stretch wrap, moving blankets, and tie-down straps
- maintain vehicle compliance with transportation laws
- communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
