Job Requirements
- Clean motor vehicle record with 2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years
- Obtain and maintain a D.O.T physical card
- Own necessary hand tools
- Ability to work 5-6 days per week including busy seasons
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture up to 100 lbs frequently and up to 250 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for up to 10 or more hours daily
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as stairways and elevators
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Be honest, caring, and represent the company positively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a D.O.T physical card
- Experience using hand tools for assembly and disassembly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic technology skills including familiarity with Dispatch Track and iPads
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture and merchandise to customers' homes efficiently and safely
- Assemble and disassemble furniture using hand tools
- Remove old furniture and packaging materials from customers' homes
- Provide white-glove customer service by explaining merchandise use and company policies
- Work closely with a delivery partner to complete jobs
- Load and unload furniture from the delivery truck safely
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
