Job Requirements
- Must be honest and caring and act as a brand ambassador
- Clean motor vehicle record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Physical card (employer paid)
- Must own or be able to obtain own hand tools (assistance provided)
- Ability to work closely with a delivery partner
- Able to learn and use new technologies including Dispatch Track and iPad
- Willingness to work 5-6 days per week including early starts
- Ability to lift and maneuver furniture weighing up to 100 lbs frequently and up to 250 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend for 10 or more hours daily
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical card
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Proficiency with technology such as Dispatch Track and iPad
- Experience in furniture delivery or similar roles is an advantage
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture and merchandise to customers' homes
- Assemble and disassemble furniture accurately and efficiently
- Remove merchandise from customers' homes when required
- Provide white-glove service by educating customers on product use and company policies
- Load and unload furniture safely to and from delivery trucks
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery schedules
