Job Requirements
- honest and caring attitude
- clean motor vehicle record with two or fewer moving violations in past three years
- obtain and maintain a D.O.T physical card
- own basic hand tools
- ability to work 5-6 days a week including early mornings
- capacity to lift and manipulate merchandise up to 250 lbs
- pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous delivery or furniture assembly experience preferred
- ability to operate and learn new technologies such as Dispatch Track and iPad
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
- physically able to lift and maneuver heavy furniture
Job Duties
- deliver merchandise to customers' homes efficiently and safely
- assemble and disassemble furniture using appropriate tools
- provide white-glove customer service explaining merchandise usage and company policies
- load and unload merchandise safely from delivery trucks
- communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members
- work collaboratively with partners to perform deliveries
- maintain a professional and caring attitude representing the company brand
