Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • perform cooking procedures such as saute, grill, fry, bake, and roast
  • operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • use advanced knife skills including slice, chop, mince, julienne, and dice
  • prepare and store food products properly
  • maintain sanitation levels at all times
  • follow standardized recipes and adhere to portion control guidelines
  • read kitchen display tickets and produce menu items promptly
  • monitor finished product to ensure timely service and notify leadership of delays
  • clean and organize walk-in coolers and kitchen areas
  • properly store food and chemicals with labeling and dating
  • clean and break down workstation and ensure kitchen security at end of shift
  • communicate with dishwashing staff and perform dishwashing as needed
  • notify leadership of equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
  • execute directions provided by department and venue leadership
  • perform other duties as assigned
