Job Requirements
- class A CDL license or class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- ability to pass motor vehicle record screen according to company requirements
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- must be 21 years of age
- ability to comply with Department of Transportation and CDL regulations
Job Qualifications
- class A CDL license or class B CDL license with air brake endorsement

- ability to pass motor vehicle record screen in accordance with company requirements
- ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- minimum 21 years of age
- ability to comply with Department of Transportation and CDL regulations
- 1 year experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or relevant certification
- 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service preferred
- 3 months experience operating forklift or Moffett for loading/unloading preferred
Job Duties
- provides smart customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
- seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects when necessary
- demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers
- communicates information to customers regarding stock, special orders, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs
- contacts customers regarding delivery or coordinates with truck drivers to call the customer
- plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise according to schedule to ensure on-time delivery of orders
- pulls merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload according to delivery order
- inspects condition of products before loading for delivery or assisting customer with loading
- matches items on invoice with quantities loaded by verifying descriptions, items, and model numbers
- ensures loads are safe, secure, and within Department of Transportation regulations
- updates delivery and route status on system for tracking purposes
- unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
- verifies vehicle inspections and ensures cleanliness, maintenance, and repairs for delivery vehicles and equipment
- completes Department of Transportation reporting to maintain DOT certification and CDL compliance
- detects signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly communicates them to management or Asset Protection
- ensures compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain store cleanliness and organization
- maintains a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates
- adheres to safety requirements relevant to job duties including use of safety devices and procedures
- operates store equipment as needed depending on specific role and department
- performs other duties as assigned
