Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Reliable and punctual attendance with advance notice of absences
- Capacity to perform multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
- Willingness to comply with company appearance and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience or training
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to add and subtract using American money and weight measurements
- Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Completion of company training in food sanitation, safety, customer service, and product knowledge
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh foods according to company standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product information
- Bake, decorate, and present bakery items according to recipes and customer requests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and comply with health regulations
- Unload, rotate, and display stock to maximize sales and minimize waste
- Communicate effectively in English with customers and associates regarding promotions and product locations
