Job Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
One to three months related experience or training
Ability to read and write in English
Capacity to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers on the sales floor
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas
Unload stock and reload salvage products following company guidelines
Prepare and decorate baked goods, meats, and other fresh products according to recipes and customer specifications
Operate necessary equipment to prepare and portion products accurately
Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates about promotions, product locations, and requests
Ensure products are properly refrigerated and merchandising displays are well-stocked and visually appealing
Follow all safety regulations and handle chemicals in compliance with company policies
Assist fellow associates with daily tasks and promote teamwork throughout the shift
Complete paperwork accurately and participate in inventory and price change processes
Adapt to shifting priorities and perform fixed activities during slow business periods
Represent the company with a professional image and adhere to grooming standards
Report absence or lateness promptly to management
Participate in required company training programs
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized store environment
Respond promptly and politely to customer inquiries in person and over the phone
