Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and use hands for extended periods
- Must lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to follow company dress code and grooming standards
- Reliable and punctual attendance with advance notice for lateness or absence
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Completion of all required company training sessions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple English instructions and correspondence
- Effective oral communication skills in English
- Mathematical skills to perform basic addition and subtraction with money and weight measurements
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- Completion of company training including food sanitation, customer service, and safety programs
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide outstanding customer service with courteous, friendly, and prompt attention
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Unload product from trucks and restock shelves efficiently
- Communicate clearly in English with customers and associates regarding products and services
- Follow all safety regulations and report any hazards immediately
