Job Requirements
- Candidates must be 21 years of age or older
- must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- must hold a current and valid CDL (Class A) driver’s license with HazMat, Tank, Doubles/Triples endorsements
- must possess a TWIC card
- must have a clean driver history record and valid PUC physical card at time of hire
- prior commercial driving and fuel handling experience preferred
- must be able to work independently
- must demonstrate physical stamina to handle long hours and extended periods of sitting while driving
- must be able to lift and move heavy loads up to 40 pounds consistently with heavier weights at times
- must be able to climb ladders and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- must be proficient with company-issued technology such as computers, tablets and smart phones
- must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office 365 email and applications
- must be open to a flexible schedule including weekends, morning and afternoon routes
- applicants with a non-Hawaii CDL license should be aware of the State of Hawaii's requirements for transferring their CDL prior to applying

- knowledge of DOT regulations related to delivery and safety

Job Duties
- Deliver and transport liquid petroleum products to customer facilities in a safe and timely manner
- operate a tanker truck with PTO-driven pumps and ensure the safe hauling of trailers containing company product in accordance with OSHA, DOT and Hazmat as well as local, state and federal requirements
- ensure accurate records of deliveries, monitor fuel levels, adhere to delivery schedules and report any issues that arise during shift
- communicate optimally with customers, handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and collaborate with leadership to maintain and improve route efficiency and customer relationships
- conduct daily routine maintenance checks on the vehicle and fueling equipment for optimum upkeep and performance
- complete ongoing company-related training, reviews, compliance, and document requirements
- stay current with licenses, certifications, physicals, background checks and other requirements needed for this position and participate in the company’s drug testing program
- follow all company’s rules of conduct, policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, and local safety, health and environmental regulations
- perform other duties and special projects as assigned
