Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a front office manager role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of front office management and reservation systems
  • Experience in supervising and training staff
  • Ability to manage budgets and prepare financial reports

Job Duties

  • Ensure completion of daily objectives while maintaining Hilton's brand standards of guest satisfaction by assigning and instructing guest service, front office, reservations and front desk agents
  • Oversee room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue
  • Compile and prepare financial reports, including those related to the hotel's rate and availability calendar
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  • Encourage a team spirit amongst staff members with leadership and guidance
  • Attend various operational related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information
