Job Requirements

- prior experience in front office or hospitality roles
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Schedules and supervises workload during shifts of front office associates
- trains new employees
- evaluates the job performance of each front office associate and provides coaching when necessary
- maintains positive working relationships and communicates with all departments
- collaborates with housekeeping to ensure accurate room status information is maintained and communicated
- resolves guest concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously
- updates group information and prepares group requirements
- works within the allocated budget for the front office
- conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office team members
- prepares and reviews daily front desk reporting and takes action to ensure interests of the hotel and guests are addressed
- ensures implementation and compliance with company policies and brand standards
- operates all aspects of front office computer system including software maintenance, report generation, and analysis
- ensures employees are attentive, friendly, and courteous at all times
- acts as Manager on Duty providing guidance and support to hotel departments
- assists in other hotel areas as needed
- participates in selection of new team members
- completes weekly schedules and coordinates absence coverage for front office team
